Population by immigration status, gender and main subsistence source

The statistic shows from which sources of livelihoods are mostly denied within the population. Employment and public transfer payments are of particular importance here. In addition, a distinction is made between the following sources: Relatives, pension/pension and own assets. Under immigration status, the migration background, as well as the distinction according to German (citizens/Aussiedlers) and non-German (including separately persons of Turkish nationality) are recorded. The predominant subsistence denotes the source of maintenance, from which mainly the means of subsistence are sourced. In the case of several sources of maintenance, the main ones are taken into account. In the microcensus, this information is determined by a self-classification of the respondents.
