On 13 September 2020, local elections were held in North Rhine-Westphalia, where the results in the area of the city of Moers are provided here.
The last municipal elections of 25 May 2014 are used as a comparative election. However, in the meantime, the territorial breakdown has been revised and due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the voting districts could be merged. For a comparison, the 2014 results had to be converted using an elaborate quota method based on today’s distribution of voters. These records include the election date of 28.05.2014.
In addition, 2 weeks after the municipal elections, run-off elections were held as mayor of the city of Moers and Landrat of the County of Wesel.
