Social Spaces Hamburg

At this point, the datasets of the district offices concerning the social spaces are described. The districts are divided administratively into districts, which in the course of integrated social planning (usually*) are divided into smaller, clearer units — so-called social spaces. The social spaces are made up of statistical areas and are defined in the districts themselves. The aim is to be able to differentiate the different living conditions, habitats, living environments of the people and the surrounding infrastructure in order to enable the social planners in the districts a targeted planning in these special regions. *Note: The district office HH-Nord regularly works on the district level and creates smaller area sections based on occasions and needs.
