The basis of the derivation of the criterion is the soil function map “Natural soil fertility”. From the map, the ground surfaces assessed with level I (very low) were selected. From these, the soils were separated with wet/moist properties. It depicts terrestrial soils of low soil strength and soils with high skeleton inclusions or high coarse soil proportions. These soils have only low to very low water storage properties. Over the course of the year, these soils are characterised by drought. Typical natural plant societies and soil organisms are adapted to these soil conditions.
