Street Condition Quantum City of Kempten

The data set contains damage values that describe the road condition of the city of Kempten. Road sections were recorded, which are operated by the regular bus service. The recording was based on high-frequency acceleration values over 3 months in 2021. The length of the evaluation sections is 100 m. These acceleration values were converted into damage values by means of an evaluation algorithm and finally classified on the basis of defined quantiles. As an alternative collection method to high-priced hardware (“Logger”) records were also made by smartphone acceleration sensors (“mobile”), whose correlation can be traced using the exemplary raw data (“raw”).
