Dataset description
A road node is part of the municipal division. This hierarchical system divides the Cologne city area into a city structure and block structure at various levels. Other components include a road structure and addresses. The entire municipal division is explained in this publication.
Definition: Junctions, junctions and dead end points are depicted by road nodes. If a cul-de-sac of the same name derives from a road and the type of house numbering does not change within the dead end, no street node is formed.
Explanation of the attributes is attached to the shapefile as CSV.
Coordinate system Shapefile: ETRS 1989 UTM Zone 32N
The Cologne Road Directory provides an overview of all applicable street names and addresses. It is updated about half-years and before each election.
