Traffic barometer — Standardised values

The Traffic Barometer (see Portal) provides guidance on current traffic developments in Germany as soon as possible. The basis is based on the preliminary data of the automatic permanent counting points (DZ) per month. Monthly developments are presented in comparison to the previous month and the same month of the previous year, both on BAB and on federal roads. These data are already pre-plausibilised by the federal states. The comparisons are presented on the portal both graphically and in tabular form. In addition to total traffic, heavy transport (motor vehicles > 3.5 tonnes permissible total weight) and light traffic (motor vehicles <= 3.5 tonnes permissible total weight) are also considered. A further differentiation takes place on the basis of 8 vehicle types. The normed values underlying the graphics of the traffic barometer are provided here as a CSV file.
