Dataset description
The specialist service 8.2 — Traffic/Road regularly performs speed measurements on public roads in the urban area of Moers. For traffic measurements, a measuring instrument (Impactor of Impact systems GmbH) is used, which is located in a small grey box and is unobtrusively attached to the road users to sign or lantern poles. The measuring device can continuously perform multi-day counts and speed measurements, so that the traffic situation can be evaluated.
The measuring device performs the measurements using radar.

T50-50 km/h, etc.) and the starting date of the measurement. Since March 2020, measurements on traffic volumes have ceased to be representative, as the lockdowns and the increased number of home office sites have significantly reduced the number of journeys.
