Dataset description
Funding in the federal-state programmes for urban development support is based on Article 104b of the Basic Law. The funding of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Federal Government is intended for assisted areas which must be defined by a decision of the municipality. The funding is also provided on the basis of the administrative agreement to be concluded between the Federal Government and the State Government of North Rhine-Westphalia for the award of federal grants to the Länder as well as the Directive on the granting of grants for the promotion of measures for urban development and urban renewal (the 2008 Urban Renewal Promotion Directive) of 22 October 2008.
