The Verkehrsverbund Berlin-Brandenburg (VBB) not only provides bus and train timetable data from Berlin and Brandenburg in GTFS format, but also enables third parties to use or query journey connections via the VBB-Fahrinfo via an external interface (API). This makes it possible to program your own applications for various stationary and mobile services or services related to public transport, which interact with the VBB timetable information via the API and thus access VBB content (e.g. route information, detailed views of a trip, etc.). For legal reasons, each API interest receives unique access data, which can then also be regulated for access to different levels of information.
Further information can be found at www.vbb.de/api.
