Virtual Passpoints Hamburg

The product virtual passpoints is a tool for the unambiguous stress-free transformation of georeferenced data from the outdated coordinate reference system (location status 100, Potsdam date with Gauss-Krüger image) into the current coordinate reference system ETRS89_UTM32 (reference system ETRS89 with figure requirement UTM, EPSG code 25832, former name: Position status 310) or in the coordinate reference system CRS ETRS89_3GK3 (reference system ETRS89 with figure specification Gauss-Krüger, EPSG code: 8395, former name: Status 320). These pass points are arranged in a regular grid with a dot spacing of 250 m and are available as an ASCII file. The total number of pass points is about 13,000. A transformation with the help of the virtual passpoints is particularly suitable for cartographic purposes. It is unsuitable for precise geodetic applications.
