*Short description The survey of water supply and sewage disposal in mining, the extraction of rocks and earths and in the manufacturing industry provides an overview of the overall situation of commercial water supply and sewage disposal. The water extraction and use of farms by area of application, water and sewage sludge treatment as well as the number of persons involved are key features that are collected for three years. The data is collected from establishments in the above-mentioned economic sectors that generate water or have a water volume of at least 10,000 cubic meters per year or discharge wastewater from in-house plants directly into a water or subsoil via their own sewers. The data are spatially differentiated up to the level of the district-free cities and districts. The survey was carried out in this form for the last time in 2004. The quality report provides information on methods and definitions as well as the quality of the results of a statistics.
