Wi-Fi locations “Freifunk”

This dataset contains the current status of all access nodes of the free Wi-Fi network “Freifunk” in Münster. Geocoordinates are also stored for most — but not all — access nodes. Freifunk is an initiative in which private individuals provide an open Wi-Fi with internet access. This is technically designed in such a way that no legal risk arises for the Internet provider, e.g. due to fault liability. In addition, a network is built parallel to the Internet, as the individual free radio notes constantly try to connect with each other.
