The Land Office for the Environment of Rhineland-Palatinate has been operating the Central Immission Measurement Network — ZIMEN — for Rhineland-Palatinate on behalf of the Ministry of Environment, Energy, Nutrition and Forestry (MUEEF) since 1978. The ZIMEN consists of measuring stations, which are telemetrically supervised from a measuring network centre in Mainz. The WMS represents the location of the measuring stations. More information can be found at http://www.luft-rlp.de
