Dataset description
The Municipality of Kalamarias, utilising the institution of Municipal Enterprises, founded in 1985 the first municipal enterprise, the Municipal Enterprise of Tourism and Cultural Development of Kalamaria (DETPAK) as a legal entity governed by private law. Its purpose was to utilise the site of the former EOT beach in Aretsos and other municipal sites for the recreation of the residents of Kalamaria and the wider area of Thessaloniki. In February 2009, DETPAK and DETAK (Municipal Ceremony & Relief Company of Kalamaria) merged and emerged the Municipal Commercial Tourism Company of Kalamaria (DETEK) S.A.
