Distribution of Very Large Scale Orthophotos (VLSO) D. Heraklion

Distribution of Orthophotographs of Very Large Scale (VLSO) of EKCHA S.A. The orthophotographs were created with processes of complete ortho-reduction of the original image, using the digital surface model, which includes, in addition to the altitudes of the ground, the altitudes of all constructions (buildings, bridges, engineering works, etc.). The orthophotos of VLSO were produced from aerial photography period 05/2007-09/2007. The size of the ground pixel is 0.20 m, with dimensions on the ground 800 m x 600 m, without perimeter coating, followed by the distribution of EGSA87 scale 1:1000. The type of files is TIFF (with the corresponding georeference file — tfw) and have a 24-bit radiometric resolution. The geometric accuracy of orthophotos for ground points is RMSEx ≤ 0.20m, RMSEy ≤ 0.20m, RMSExy ≤ 0.28m, and for ceiling points RMSEx ≤ 0.40m, RMSEy ≤ 0.40m, RMSExy ≤ 0.56m. The orthophotos were provided by the OKHE to the PSDATM, under the terms of the Creative Commons Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Greece license.
