Dataset description

The Friendly Settlement Committees (FACs) are committees based in the local municipalities of the country and to which citizens-consumers can appeal for the amicable settlement of their consumer disputes with suppliers. The responsibility for setting up the APOs, as well as keeping records of their findings and keeping a register of consumers, was transferred to the municipalities by Law 3852/2010 (Article 94(2)) on the “New Architecture of Local Government” (Programme “Kallikratis”).
