Dataset description

It is paid to insured persons of the IKA under a private-law employment relationship (they provide employees). It shall be paid to women who work at the beginning of the pregnancy leave, after childbirth and if they receive the allowance from the IKA for their absence from work due to pregnancy and postpartum. Maternity benefits shall be equal to the difference if the salary paid by the Employer is deducted from the allowance paid by the IKA for the same period. The deadline for submitting an application is three months from the date of payment by IKA.
