Tables of decisions of the Committee on Rural Economy and the Environment

The Committee’s objects in accordance with Article 186 of Law 3852/2010 are defined as follows: a) From Sector A (Development Programming) all objects related to the Rural Economy and the Environment. B) Objects of whole Section B (Agriculture — Livestock — Fisheries) from Heading F (Projects — Spatial Planning — Environment) the environmental issues, i.e. those listed in cases 18,19,20,21,24,26,27,28,29,36,37. D) Any issue of the rural economy, veterinary and environmental sectors that concerns the local community, even if it is not the responsibility of services of the region. (E.g. damages, forests, etc.) e)All matters concerning water as a natural resource (management, quality controls, geothermal). The Committee shall process its fields of competence and recommend to the Regional Council. The Regional Council has delegated to the above Committee the following responsibilities. the approval or opinion of any kind of studies or preliminary environmental impact studies without prejudice to paragraph 3 of Article 164 of Law 3852/2010. B) The presentation to the Economic Committee of issues concerning the participation or non-participation of the Region in Reports on the subject matter of the Committee’s responsibilities.
