Gagnasettið sýnir greiningu vatnasvæða í vatnafarsflokka, eftir því hvernig svæðið bregst við úrkomu og miðlar henni, og rennslisháttum vatnsfalla sem eiga uppruna sinn á viðkomandi svæði.
