Boreholes — 2.6 (csv)

A dataset that shows the overview information from the National Energy Authority’s Borholu Base on boreholes in Iceland. Include: borehole identification number, borehole name, local name, drill time, depth, municipality, older area name, country number, purpose and type of drilling, drilling and drilling, position coordinates in ISN93 and WGS84, quality coordinates, lining depth and hole width. The table contains about 13,700 entries. Position coordinates are still being collected, but a third of the holes are still missing. Information from the data table is available both through the search menu on the OS <http://www.os.is/borholuleit> website and in the map view of the National Energy Authority <http://www.map.is/os>.
