Dataset description

A 10 day sea window was identified in February 2015 to do the formal Ship acceptance Tests for the EM302 as well as continue to assess the EM2040 performance on board the Marine Institute’s R.V. Celtic Explorer. The tests were designed to be conducted on the Irish continental margin at depths of up to 4 500 m. A forecast storm however, required that the deep water testing be shifted down into the Bay of Biscay.
