Dataset description
A permanently moored thermistor chain at the deepest point in Lough Bunaveela measured water temperature at 8 different depths (1 m, 3 m, 5 m, 7 m, 9 m, 11 m, 15 m, 17 m). This Dataset comprises data collected between February 2009 and August 2019 which has gone through detailed QA/QC (averaged over 1-hour intervals and 1-hour missing gaps linearly interpolated). Temperature was recorded using stowaway tidbit temperature data loggers from onset (TBI32-05+ 37) (https://www.onsetcomp.com/products/data-loggers/tbi32-0537). More recent data can be requested or downloaded from the Marine Institute through www.marine.ie. More information can be Obtained from [email protected]
