Dataset description

The administrative limits consist of three national hierarchical levels, regions, provinces and municipalities respectively. They were obtained through the aggregation of census sections. Each section is uniquely associated with a municipal code allowing the generation of municipal, provincial and regional limits. The acquisition bases used (mainly aerial photos and other cartography) come from different sources and scales, which vary between urban and suburban areas.
