Agricultural and livestock holdings: number of holdings and number of animals per type, by category of area used

The dataset contains data on the size of holdings on agricultural and livestock holdings, number of animals by type. The data source is the 6th General Agricultural Census — 2010. An agricultural and livestock holding means the technical and economic unit, consisting of land, even in unconnected plots, and, where appropriate, of various installations and equipment, in which the agricultural and zootechnical activity is carried out primarily or secondaryly by a holder — a natural person, a company, a body — who bears the risk either alone, as a farmer or holder with wage earners and/or partners, or in an associated form.
