Dataset description
The WMS Air Quality Zone Service allows access to the air quality zoning data of the Piedmont Region. The zoning is the subdivision of the territory into agglomerations and zones for the purposes of air quality assessment and management. Data from the current zoning system, transposing Legislative Decree No 155 of 13 August 2010, ‘Implementation of Directive 2008/50/EC on ambient air quality and cleaner air for Europe’, approved by Regional Executive Decision No 41-855 of 29 December 2014, is also made available. The air quality zoning of the Region of Piedmont in force until 31 December 2012, approved by Regional Executive Decision No 19-12878 of 28 June 2004, is also made available.
