ARPA Lombardia’s air quality detection network consists of fixed stations which, by means of automatic analysers, provide continuous data at regular intervals. The continuously monitored pollutant species are NOX, SO2, CO, O3, PM10, PM2.5 and benzene. Depending on the environmental context in which monitoring is active, the type of pollutants that need to be detected differ. Therefore, not all stations are equipped with the same analytical instrumentation. The regional stations are distributed throughout the region according to the population density and the type of territory in accordance with the criteria defined by Legislative Decree 155/2010.The data provided are hourly except PM10 and PM2.5 for which the daily average is provided.The positioning of the sensors is available here:
