An Animaltalker is a device that can receive data via Bluetooth from different sensors called animal buttons. Each button is composed of a sensor, a battery and a Bluetooth microchip with its antenna. It sends the data collected in a string format using a BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) service. The Animaltaker gathers all the strings with their IDs and makes them available over the internet. The buttons under development are now:
1. A skin temperature button;
2. A movement button (using a 3 axis accelerometer);
3. An under skin temperature button;
4. A heart rate button.
The AnimalTalker has a GPS module, an environmental temperature and humidity sensor, a NB-IoT/4G/5G module to allow internet connection and the possibility to mount a LoRa module to work also in places where you get a good internet connection is particularly challenging
