The salinity chart describes the state of salinity of soils between 0-50 cm. It is a representation derived from geostatistical analysis based on punctual data collected in the Soil Database. The representation of the territory takes place through a mesh structure consisting of cells with a side of 500 m. The paper contains information about: the salinity class according to USDA’s Soil Survey Manual (Richards, 1954); the electrical conductivity value of the saturated paste extract (ECe in DSM-1) estimated through geostatistical analysis; the reliability of the estimate, i.e. the degree of reliability of the value provided which allows a correct interpretation of the Charter.
