Areas suitable for mariculture

With the Assessorial Decree 103/GAB of 25/06/2021, the Charter of Mariculture Areas and the Methodological Guide for the identification of areas suitable for mariculture — drawn up in accordance with the method indicated in phase 1 of the ISPRA Technical Guide is approved. Cartography is a cognitive reference and does not represent the assignment to the designated areas of a priority, or exclusivity, of use for mariculture, which however refers to the proposer of any plant or concession for different purposes the site-specific surveys and the ex-ante and in-itinere monitoring, carried out according to the proposed activities, the environmental load, the sensitivity and bearing capacity of the receiving water body.
