Dataset description

The list of municipalities belonging to the ASL shall be set out for each ASL; in addition, for each municipality, the resident population distinct by gender is provided. For municipalities articulated on several ASLs, the sub-municipal territorial areas (circumscriptions/municipals) that relate to the ASL are reported. Since 2017, the estimate of the resident population of the ASLs of the municipality of Rome is more accurate than that provided for previous years. Details of the new estimation procedure are given in the dictionary.
