In 2013 the collection of data on the availability of public Wi-Fi and PCs for internet browsing at libraries began. The data were collected by searching on the websites of municipalities in the library section; on the institutional sites of the libraries/cards, on the sites of the providers of wi-fi services, on the associated management sites, on the Information System of the SIBIB libraries of the Emilia-Romagna IBC http://online.ibc.regione.emilia-romagna.it/h3/h3.exe/abiblioteche , directly from IBC (November 2013), telephone contacts directed to libraries, by Lepida SpA. The data is collected by ERVET spa on behalf of the Emilia-Romagna Region — Coordination of the Regional Telematic Plan that is the owner of the data.
