Basin Rhine, exposed elements, linear geometry

The linear geometry cartography, in relation to the type of elements considered, in relation to the scope of the Unit of Management UoM (ITI021), on which the Rhine Basin Authority is responsible, takes into account the macrocategories considered for the flood risk map. Following the specifications of the Floods Directive, sensitive targets such as rail and road networks, service distribution networks, secondary road networks and ancillary spaces have been mapped within floodable areas. The data comes from different sources (Provinces, competent regional directorates, etc.). The map of the exposed elements is represented according to the field “macrocategory district” and also has information on the damage classes (1-4 moderate to very high).
