Bathing monitoring areas — 2020 update

Homogeneous stretches of coastline identified on the basis of knowledge of the pressures that insist on it and the characteristics that characterise it. This allows you to consider the monitoring point within your own representative of the quality of the entire area. The characteristics of the coast and the pressures that insist on it, make the breadth of the areas on the regional territory uneven. In fact, the areas oscillate between widths of the order of a hundred meters up to more than 6 km. The choice of points and areas represented were defined following the provisions of the legislation on bathing water (Legislative Decree 116/2008 and Ministerial Decree 30/05/2010).
