List of analyses carried out in 2008 and 2009 for parameters: Total coliforms, faecal coliforms, faecal streptococci and Salmonella (DPR 470/1982) List of analyses carried out since 2010 for parameters: Escherichia coli and intestinal Enterococci, other wastes, gums, plastics, bituminous residues, glass (Legislative Decree 116/2008 and DM 30 March 2010) and meteo-marine data.
The files show the values of microbiological parameters found in the waters (total coliforms, faecal coliforms, faecal streptococci and Salmonelle from 2008 to 2009 pursuant to Presidential Decree No 470/1982 and Escherichia coli and intestinal Enterococchi from 2010 onwards pursuant to Legislative Decree 116/2008 and Ministerial Decree of 30 March 2010) whose presence may be an indication of pollution, especially from sewage or farmed slurry. Since 2010, other wastes, tires, plastics, bituminous residues, glass and meteo-marine data are also reported, as required by the new legislation (Legislative Decree 116/2008, Ministerial Decree of 30 March 2010 and Ministerial Decree of 19 April 2018).
Below is the meaning of the microbiological parameters sought:
Total coliforms: environmental contamination indicator
Faecal coliforms and faecal streptococci: indicators of faecal contamination
Escherichia coli and intestinal Enterococci: faecal contamination indicators (more specific than faecal coliforms and faecal Streptococci, respectively)
