A WMS (Web Map Service) is a service that produces spatially related maps of data from geographical information, and is a technical specification defined by the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). This WMS presents the layer “Relevant Areas” of the Territorial Database of Reference of the Institutions (BDTRE), structured according to the national technical specifications (DPCM 10 November 2011), exposes the vast areas within which objects of different nature often insist and that belong to different layers and different classes. The perimeter areas of these complex objects are therefore classified in this theme. The contents of this service are divided into the following levels corresponding to the BDTRE classes:- Transport services- Relevances- Caves — landfills Maps can be viewed via various software (e.g. QGIS)
