The dataset contains two files referring to a 1931-2021 historical series relating to: Generic birth rate, which is given by the ratio of the number of births (live born = Nv) of year t to the average population (Pm) of that year x 1000 (born alive per thousand inhabitants) Qn = Nv/Pm • 1000 General mortality ratio, which is given by the ratio of the number of deaths (M) in year t to the average population of that year x 1000 (deads per thousand inhabitants) QM = M/Pm • 1000
