High-mountain fixed bivouacs. By its decision No 2747 of 24 December 2012, the Regional Executive identified a first list of 38 high-mountain places, useful for the shelter of mountaineers and hikers. The main requirements of these facilities are: 1) unattended and open throughout the year 2) good structural and hygienic conditions — sanitary 3) owner or manager only public 4) not reachable by silvo-pastoral road 5) normally above 1 300 m 6) normally not close to shelters and/or active mountain huts. Subsequently, by Decision No 2382 of 16 December 2013, the Regional Executive approved a new list of 41 houses or similar artefacts, of considerable interest for mountain hiking, to be used in the event of bad weather or overnight stays. The requirements of these structures are similar to those already indicated for fixed bivouacs, unlike the minimum altitude starting from about 1 000 m
