Businesses, local units and Asia employees for census sections. Year 2016

The archives contain data on active businesses and local units, based in Tuscany, and their employees; the information is derived from the archive ISTAT ASIA (Archvio Statistico delle Enterprise Active), the result of a process of integration of information from different sources of an administrative nature (Trade Chambers, INPS, Revenue Agency, etc.). The ASIA archive was subsequently developed by the Territorial and Environmental Information System to allocate to individual companies and local units the relevant census section (ISTAT 2011). The georeferencing process allowed the section to be allocated to 95.5 % of enterprises and 91 % of local units. For companies, information on the legal form is presented at the first level of detail in the broadest classification; information on economic activity is presented at the first level of detail (section) of the broader Ateco2007 classification.
