The Soil Use Card (CUS) is a basic thematic map that represents the current state of use of the territory and is part of the CORINE Land Cover Project of the European Union. The CUS, with a shared language and in compliance with the Community directives, is based on 5 main classes (artificial surfaces, used agricultural areas, wooded surfaces and semi-natural environments, wet environment, water environment) and develops for subsequent levels of detail according to the scale of representation.
