Dataset description

The dataset contains 43 statistical indicators calculated on the basis of Census 2011 data for Census sections. The indicators are defined as follows: * 1) Average number of residents per residential building; * 2) Average number of dwellings per residential building; * 3) Average number of dwellings occupied by residents per residential building; * 4) Percentage of buildings for residential use in poor or mediocre state of preservation; * 5) Average age of residential buildings; * 6) Percentage of buildings for residential use of 4 or more floors with lift; * 7) Population over 65 per 100 young people (0-14 years old) (Old Age Index); * 8) Percentage of preschool children; * 9) Percentage of older people over 85; * 10) Young people (0-14 years) and over 65 years old per 100 active age (15-64 years) (dependence index); * 11) Percentage of residents of more than 5 years who lived outside Milan 5 years earlier (indicator of attractiveness); * 12) Percentage of housing in buildings built over the last 20 years (construction expansion indicator); * 13) Percentage of unoccupied dwellings; * 14) Percentage of single parent families; * 15) Percentage of households without income earners; * 16) Percentage of households of 5 or more persons with a maximum income; * 17) Percentage of over 65-year-olds living alone; * 18) Percentage of occupied dwellings with less than 15 square meters per occupant (overcrowding indicator); * 19) Percentage of males; * 20) Percentage of celibates/unbreakables; * 21) Percentages of widowers; * 22) Population aged 55-64 per 100 young people aged 15-24 (Replacement index of the working population); * 23) Population aged 40-64 per 100 people aged 15-39 (Index of structure of the working population); * 24) Children 0-4 years old each woman aged 15-49 years (Load of children of preschool age for fecund woman); * 25) Young people (0-14 years) every 100 of active age (15-64 years) (Young dependency index); * 26) Over65 years old per 100 people of active age (15-64 years) (age dependency index); * 27) Percentage of population aged 15 and over earning an income out of the total population 15 years and over; * 28) Percentage of illiterates in the total population of 6 years or older; * 29) Percentage with university or university degrees of 30-34 years of the total population of 30-34 years old; * 30) Percentage of foreigners and stateless persons; * 31) Percentage of Africans of the total number of foreigners and stateless persons; * 32) Percentage of Asians of the total number of foreigners and stateless persons; * 33) Percentage of foreigners from other areas (no Africa and no Asia) of the total number of foreigners and stateless persons; * 34) Percentage of resident population moving daily for study or work; * 35) Percentage resident population moving daily for study or work in Milan of the total population moving daily for study or work; * 36) Percentage resident population moving daily for study or work outside Milan of the total population moving daily for study or work; * 37) Percentage of famiglie living in rented houses; * 38) Percentage of households residing in owned housing; * 39) Average number of household members; * 40) Percentage of households of a member; * 41) Average surface area (sqm) of dwellings occupied by at least one resident; * 42) Percentage of residential buildings built before 1946; * 43) Percentage of residential buildings with only one residential interior.
