The project initially surveyed the presence of chirotterofauna on a regional scale, in particular within the Protected Areas, with direct observation, bat-detector and bibliographical data. The activity continues with the monitoring of species and their habitats, following Directives 92/43/EEC and DPR 357/97. All species of chiroptera are of European interest and can be used as indicators of the state and quality of the environment. The data is aggregated on a grid of 2Km
