Dataset description
This information layer delimits the surfaces affected by the fire. Each fire is bounded by a single polygon. Only fires that have affected areas of more than 1000 square meters are reported. Partially burnt surfaces were detected: 1) with GPS handheld instrument with a tolerance of 5 ¿10 meters. 2) for some large fires also using satellite images provided by Planetek Italia, with subsequent validation through control points.
