Dataset description

The products of the CLC 2018 are based on the photo-interpretation of satellite images made by the national teams of the participating States (EU Member States and cooperating States), following a standard methodology and nomenclature with the following characteristics: 44 classes at the third hierarchical level of the Corine nomenclature; minimum mapping unit (MMU) covering 25 hectares; minimum linear element amplitude of 100 metres. The layer of land cover changes highlights the change in land use over the period 2012-2018.
