Dataset description
“Wave Roses” in graphic form and tables by class of origin and significant wave height. The data of Significative Highness of the Wave and the Media Direction of propagation of the same were reconstructed by extracting from the archives the results of the SWAN State of the Sea State model, operating at the HydroMeteorological Service of ARPA Emilia-Romagna. The polar wave diagrams and associated frequency tables were produced considering the data for the period January 2005-December 2007 relating to four points of the model calculation grid, located on a reference bathymetry of about 10 m, at the locations of Comacchio, Ravenna, Cesenatico and Misano.
