Dataset description

Mapping and classification of the geomorphological characteristics of the coastal area of Emilia-Romagna, carried out mainly through the photo interpretation of orthorectified aerial photos, integrated with the High Resolution DTM of the coast and, where available, with the analysis of batimetric profiles. The area concerned includes the beach, mouth and transition environment and, for the submerged part, extends up to the observation limit visible from aerial photos.
