Craft activities: food industry

The dataset contains a list of artisanal activities in the food sector, i.e. the production and sale of foodstuffs in the production premises (ice-cream parlors, takeaway pizzerias, pastry shops, kebab, rosticcerie, etc.). In addition to location by street and house number and type of operation, there are other information derived from the administrative archive. For the interpretation of the data, it must be borne in mind that the trade legislation has undergone numerous changes over time, both in relation to the nomenclature and the classification of activities, and in relation to the type and number of information collected. In some cases, regulatory innovations have introduced variables not present in the archives, enriching the dataset with information. These changes, however, do not affect retroactively in the archive, but are updated at the first time when the owner turns to the offices to communicate any change (translocation, takeover, change in sales area, cumulation of activities....). Therefore, the information contained in the dataset is not necessarily homogeneous, because it is reported at the time of the last communication. Updated on 31/12/2018.
