Dataset description
Uniting the sections of the CTR on a scale of 1:10.000 used for the Sicilian region.Since Sicily is between 36° South latitude and 38° North latitude, the area of the territory represented in each section of the C.T.R. varies between about 4.000 ha and 4.100 ha. Each section has a cartographic field of about cm. 55x73, corresponding to a geographical cut of 3'x5’. Each section is marked by a location name and a six-digit number of which the first three indicate the sheet number on a scale of 1:50.000 where the section falls, the next two digits indicate where it is located inside the sheet (from 01 to 16) and the last digit is zero.
