Regional Technical Paper Numerical scale 1:5000.Subdivision into N° 983 elements congruent with the IGM 1:50,000 cartographic cutThe representation of Gauss-Boaga, Roma40 national system, homogenous with the coordinates of the trigonometric summits of the Istituto Geografico Militare defined in the last compensation available at the time of the installation, was used for the formation of the Regional Technical Paper. The quotas derive from the high precision leveling network of the Istituto Geografico Militare. The cartographic elements are delimited on the geographical grid as sub-multiples of the map 1:50000 of the I.G.L. each element thus covers an area of about 900 ha.The geographical coordinates of the summits relating to the delimitation of the map elements are referred to the International Ellipsoid with medium European orientation (ED 1950); they are therefore homogenous with those of the cartography of the IGM on the 1:50000 scale. On each element 1:5000 the lines of the Gauss-Boaga cross-linked interspersed by 500 m in 500 m have been drawn in full, with the corresponding values shortened to the last five digits indicated at the edges.Along the delimitation of each element, the following symbols and statements have been inserted:(a) references relating to the UTM ED50 reticulate interspersed by 500 m in 500 m; geographical subdivision references, in the ED50 system, interspersed by 30“in 30”;c) complete Gauss-Boaga coordinates, North and East, at each summit;d) geographical coordinates, in the ED50 system, at each subdivision of 30“in 30”;e) number and name of the neighbouring elements located at each side. The data can be downloaded at http://irdat.regione.fvg.it/CTRN/ricerca-cartografia
