In the Lazio soil database, all information on Lazio soils collected over the last 50 years has been stored and new soil information is collected as it is acquired and made available. The data collected are the result of important activities and description in the field, laboratory determinations, evaluations and estimates starting from the data collected and integrations with data acquired remotely (pictures from satellite, orthophotos, digital models of the soil, etc.) or from other sources (geological maps, maps of land use and vegetation, etc.).
